At the moment there is no such fix timeline for the legalization of sports betting in NY.
In 2018, various sports betting bill s are presented in the NY Assembly but failed to materialize into legislation. The NY regulator has yet to draft rules, and broader legislation is much likely necessary for any progress towards the legalization of Sports Betting.
Here, the 2018’s NY State legislative season is already ended and hence no voting on the bill. Chances are in the new session they will pass some form of legislation and by the end of 2019 NY allow sports betting across the state.
